KORKE LAMAWALANG

Lamawalang village is one of tourist object in East Flores Regency.  Now Lawamalang  became to one of  cruise ship destination in Larantuka.  in this place you can see  the exclusive  culture  attraction of Lamaholotnese  such as traditional wedding,,  ikat weaving process, traditional dance with traditional music, daily activities of local  people.  

 Beside that in east Flores has many  cruiship destination like, Ile Padung,  Sinar Hading,  Mudakeputu Village.   Here you can choose what destination  that you want.

Traditional party “ KOKE BALE “

 It is tradition party performed by people of Lewokluok,  to feed theirs ancestors as an expression of thanks giving for the life and also to purify the village from the influences of bad  spirit and dirty things. This ceremony performed in three days as follows; “ THUK KELEWON “ ( make sure the KORKE ) and ETEN BINE  is the ceremony to bring the offerings to the goodness who takes care the spring water

Second day “  BELO WULI “ ceremony is slaughtering the animals prepared as meals for the ceremony on next day. Third day  “ GOLE”  ceremony is the culminate of the ritual where all people will have meals together at the kORKE.  .  The ceremony performed every year on july
